EverFi tracks individual student progress and knowledge gain and provides students who successfully complete the course with certification in financial literacy, which can be a powerful tool for job, college and internship applications.

Description: Front Row covers all K-8 standards with over 30,000+ math questions.  The lessons are inquiry based and help students develop an understanding of different math concepts and how they are applicable. It adapts to students' skill levels and provides lessons and assessments accordingly.

APROVAL DECISION: iKeepSafe read the privacy policy and so did Bonnie. The commitment of EdPuzzle to protect student data is in line with COPPA. They have a management system in place to protect against unauthorized use. They have included the CA Privacy disclosure measures; they don't track student data. They provide options for the teacher to input non-identifying student information. Note: Students less that 13 years of age require parental consent before using.

Description: Teachers can crop a video, explain it with their own voice and embed quizzes.

Description: Edpuzzle provides teachers with the ability to create flipped/blended classroom videos. It can be used for students to get short direct instruction on important content, videos can be cropped, voice overs can be added, quizzes can also be embedded; teachers can monitor student progress.

We like the alignment to C.C. academic vocabulary. The dashboard provides numerous metrics that would be beneficial to a teacher's formative assessment practices.

Description: Co:Writer® is a writing tool that aids with phonetic/inventive spelling, grammar, and topic-related vocabulary.

Uses third party vendors for social media. Tracking for targeted ads with third party vendors is allowed. Not the best tool for digital story telling because of the limited editing features.

Because the app has received certification from TRUSTe, iKeepSafe, and Student Privacy Pledge. This reinforces the SEL of positive reinforcement of acceptable classroom learning behaviors. The app encourages parental engagement.
